WHAT: A food tasting and silent auction to benefit the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital’s Emergency Departments. Participating restaurants include: Salute!, Islero, FORGE, Hill Country and Petaluma. Bid on silent auction items such as a four-night stay on Fisher Island in Miami or luxury goods from Versace and Diane von Furstenberg, choice tickets to Mets, Yankees and Knicks games and more. WHY: Approximately 26% of the Hospital’s over 200,000 emergency department patients have no other option for primary healthcare. These facilities deliver approximately $53 million in charitable care annually, directly contributing to saving the lives of countless New Yorkers.
