Event Details
 
The wines of Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa are supposed to have very distinctive personalities, but in reality are mostly blends of grapes from different subregions. However, the current trend towards estate-bottled and vineyard-designated wines has revived this traditional Rioja debate. In this seminar we will explore the distinctive personalities of the wines emerging from specific soils and microclimates in search for a better definition and appreciation of Rioja’s true terroirs.
