Explore different restaurants each month while getting to know other singles in the age group of your choice . . . so even if there's no love connection you'll still have a wonderful time. You'll order off the menu and receive separate checks for your purchases. Our website allows you to view the profiles of those registered for each dinner, tracks who've you've dined with so you meet new people every time, and then let's you send a private message to those you've dined with afterward.

For current space availability, to see who's going, and to register please visit our website at www.TastyNewYork.com.

This week enjoy dinner at Mesa Grill:

"Showcasing “Southwestern with snazz”, this seriously tabbed Flatiron standby is home plate for TV super-chef Bobby Flay, whose “bold riffs” on regional cuisine “pack a big taste wallop” (brunch is sure to “wake you up”); “enthusiastic” service bolsters the “loud”, “upbeat” vibe in a room that’s lately been looking a little “long in the tooth.”" - Zagat.com

"The cavernous dining room, with kitschy cowboy print banquettes and oversize photos of cows and other American iconography on the walls, is vibrant and fun, though quite boisterous when full. Chef-owner Bobby Flay's Southwestern-inspired fare manages to hang in there---despite the fact that the media-savvy Flay spends more time on the TV Food Network than in the Kitchen. Starters include oysters dusted with yellow cornmeal with mango pico de gallo and green curry. Pumpin soup with pomegranate and cinnamon crema stands out as well. We're wild for the grilled grouper with red chile wet rub sauce as a main course. Try on the spice-rubbed New York Strip steak for size, served with spicy steak sauce plus a double-baked horseradish potato. Desserts are renditions of retro sweets shaped around pinenuts, guava, tequila or some other Southwest-inspired ingredient. If you go for brunch, try the scrambled eggs chiliquiles with grilled chorizo and nibble the corn muffins. There’s also a notable wine list and extensive margarita menu." - Gayot.com
