New York City Wine-10th Plate by Plate Annual Tasting Benefit

HOSTS 10TH PLATE BY PLATE ANNUAL TASTING BENEFIT

FOR VOICE YOUR VOTE NY

WHAT:

Project by Project, a 100 percent volunteer-run Asian Pacific American (APA) non-profit organization, will host its 10th Plate by Plate Annual Tasting Benefit in New York. The event showcases New York City's premier restaurants and silent auction programs, and is attended by over 750 food and wine loving guests who look forward to sampling what the city's best has to offer.

WHY:

The Plate by Plate Annual Tasting Benefit is Project by Project's signature event. The event provides leaders of the restaurant and beverage business the opportunity to showcase their culinary artwork to benefit Project by Project's 2008 non-profit community partner.

This year, all proceeds will go towards Voice Your Vote NY, a campaign to empower voters in the APA community of New York. Voice Your Vote NY is a partnership between APIAVote, YKASEC - Empowering the Korean American Community, Chhaya CDC, Organization of Chinese Americans - NY (OCA-NY) and Project by Project. Voice Your Voice NY is a collaborative campaign that leverages expertise and resources from each partner organization. The funds will contribute to voter registration, voter mobilization, and voter education.
