Prieure Saint-Hippolyte, Rose, Languedoc, 2007: A blend of 70% Syrah and 30% Grenache, this snappy rose is dry and crisp – perfect for a summer evening, picnic, or party.
Pallavicini, "Poggio Verde" Frascati Superiore, 2005: Another lovely white for summer, from the Lazio region of central Italy. Full-bodied, clean, and dry with light apricot, lemon, and minerals on the finish.
Avio, Valdadige, Enantio, 2005: A dry, full-bodied red from the north of Italy made from an ancient grape varietal with dark fruit, a touch of earthiness and good tannins – a perfect match for BBQ!
