The small 9.1 acre Grand Cru vineyard of Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet (BBM) is surrounded on two sides by Bâtard-Montrachet and on one side by the outstanding Premier Cru vineyard of Les Pucelles. While wines from this vineyard rarely match the power, richness, and complexity of some of the other Grand Crus, we’ve been seduced over the years by many excellent BBMs, which have won us over with wonderful finesse and elegance.
In particular, five of our favorite white Burgundy producers make superb BBM in the best vintages. We’ve assembled many rare wines for this unique tasting, which showcases 16 great vintages of BBM from five top producers. All wines came from one highly reliable source.
