| Join us at Leontine for a gourmet pairing of artisan-made couverture chocolates and four Bourbons, handpicked for our palates.
In a stylish and relaxed setting, you will learn about chocolate production and best consumption practices, along with some history of Bourbon and proper tasting techniques.
This is a sit-down event and each attendee will be provided with an individual tasting plate with a raw cacao bean and six artisan, couverture chocolates from some of the world’s finest chocolate makers (e.g., Michel Cluizel, Valrhona, Guittard, etc.) as well as a score sheet, flavor wheel and rating scale to write down thoughts and reactions to each chocolate. Each table will be set with palate cleansers and water as well as bourbon for tasting.
The couvertures they will be tasting range from extra bitter dark chocolate (86% cacao) to a mild milk chocolate (33% cacao), so there will be chocolates that are bound to appeal to the taste preferences of every person and you will get a clear experience of the chocolates and bourbons you like best.
This is a fun, interactive, social event and the perfect excuse to eat chocolate mid-week (as if you ever need an excuse to eat chocolate).
Space is limited to 20! Advance Registration Required.
