Jumilla is after Priorat the biggest success story in all of Spain’s Mediterranean areas. In its sandy vineyards the old pre-phylloxera style ungrafted Monastrell vines (known around the world as Mourvèdre and Mataro) thrive and reach world-class heights. In this tasting we will get to know what makes Jumilla and its neighboring reds unique, and compare them with Monastrell based wines from all over the world, from Bandol to California and Australia.
