Chamard Vineyard is sponsoring a series of educational seminars and tastings which will be conducted by Professor Emeritus Gene Spaziani, noted wine author, wine journalist, international wine consultant and educator who will make all attendees a sixty-second wine expert. Learning about the three basic wine grapes, how to read a wine label, the history of wines in America, how to evaluate and select the proper wine, the basic wine making techniques will be areas of discussion. Prof.
Spaziani will help to eliminate the “mystique’ of wine and explain its purpose in our culture. Bring your wine questions with you and register as soon as possible as seating is limited. A series of Chamard wines will be tasted and evaluated by you using the UCAL-Davis 20-point scoring system which Prof Spaziani will explain.
Tickets: $30. Call to purchase tickets (860)664-0299 Limited Space available. Classes will sell out! |
