| Are you a photographer? Ever wondered where others go to get those really good vineyard shots? Now's your chance to take some great shots you just can't get by standing along highway 29.
We’re inviting the photographers among you to help us capture the glory that is Dollarhide. On Saturday, July 12, 2008, we’ll open the ranch to photographers for several hours.
Everyone who participates can have at least one of their photographs shown in the winery gallery. (Note: photographers will be responsible for their own framing.) The exhibit will be shown in the St. Supéry Winery Gallery in December 2008, wine reception date TBD for the artists and their guests.
Our favorite picture will win a prize: a six-pack each of Dollarhide Cabernet Sauvignon and of Dollarhide Sauvignon Blanc. Second place will receive three bottles each of these limited-edition wines, and third place will receive one bottle each.
Early birds can book a spot on the first excursion at 4:30 a.m. (leaving from the winery). For those seeking spectacular evening shots, the second excursion will leave at 7:30 p.m. There’s no cost to take part in the photo contest, but reservations are a must.
