Bennett Lane Winery will celebrate the long-awaited release of the 2007 vintage of their acclaimed White Maximus ($28) with an ‘Oysterodeo’ at the Bennett Lane tasting room in Calistoga on Saturday, May 10th from 12-4p.m. Hog Island Oyster Company will bring their famed oysters to Bennett Lane to accompany the cowboy cuisine being cooked up by Bennett Lane Tasting Room Manager and chef Jim May to pair perfectly with the festive white wine blend. The 2007 White Maximus is a refreshing blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Muscat. The white wine is partner to Bennett Lane’s proprietary red feasting blend, Maximus, as well as the perfect partner for summer fun and festivities with friends and family.
