| Judd’s Hill winery continues a festive and philanthropic tradition with the Second Annual Judd’s Hill Musical Bonanza. The Finkelstein family, owners of Judd’s Hill, is known for its commitment to the arts, and accordingly, the event will benefit Napa Valley Youth Symphony. Wine Club members will receive a 20% discount on wine they purchase at the Bonanza. It is suggested that tickets be purchased in advance.
Performers to enjoy will be The Rhythm Cats (who play toe-tappin’ swingin’ & rockin’ music) and King Kukulele, who delights audiences with his lively and comedic ukulele stylings. Winemaker Judd Finkelstein may jump on stage with his ukulele as well. Welcome music will be presented by the Youth Symphony chamber quartet. Ample and delicious food to be offered will be the specialty barbecue from the winery’s Pat Burke, who is a National Champion Barbecuer.
The event will also launch three new releases:
2006 Pinot Noir (Napa Valley, $30)
2004 Petite Sirah (Lodi, $30)
2004 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa, $45)
and offer a chance to try library wines from Judd’s Hill as well.
“It will be a sensational day of wine, food, music and fun,” Judd Finkelstein explains. CDs of all the musicians performing will be available for purchase as well.
Judd’s Hill’s current releases are 2004 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, 2001 Napa Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, 2006 Napa Valley Estate Pinot Noir, 2004 Lodi Petite Sirah, 2003 Napa Valley Magic, and the wines usually offered only to Club members--- 2007 Napa Valley Rose’, 2007 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc and 2007 Napa Valley Muscat Canelli.

Judd’s Hill Winery is owned and operated by two generations of the Finkelstein family. Founders Art and Bunnie, joined by Judd and Holly, their son and daughter-in-law, are dedicated to producing ultra-premium, handcrafted wines. Since 1992, MicroCrush has been making small lots, as little as one barrel, of hand-crafted customized wine for a range of clients, from vineyard owners to wine enthusiasts. The service is all-inclusive, from fruit sourcing through bottling. MicroCrush has helped launch several commercial brands as well as fulfill the dreams of wine aficionados from around the world.
