Pioneering Cecilia Chiang introduced Americans to authentic northern Chinese cooking at her San Francisco restaurant, the Mandarin, in 1961, earning accolades and devotion from generations of Bay Area diners. The Seventh Daughter (Ten Speed) presents classic recipes framed by her fascinating life’s journey. Join us as the grande dame of Chinese cooking in America converses with her co-author, Lisa Weiss and Director of Culinary Programs Jacquelyn Buchanan.
