AIWF Monterey Bay Chapter will present an evening of history and gastronomy Friday, August 29, 6:00 p.m., at Stokes Restaurant & Bar, 500 Hartnell, Monterey. Chef Brandon Miller will prepare a four-course dinner followed by a lecture at approximately 8:00 p.m. from Dr. Bertram Gordon of Mills College. His topic is "A Window on the World of Food: Gourmet Magazine and International Cuisine from 1941 to the Present."
