In 2008 The 32nd Annual Monterey Wine Festival will be celebrating its next decade with a plethora of new additions to the floor and traditional favorites from the past. Drawn by a combination of world-class wine, educational seminars presented by industry leaders, a live wine auction, and exquisite gourmet offerings, the festival will expand to include California wineries sampling more than 600 wines attended by more than 3,000 wine lovers. This year, the festival is proud to include wineries from Oregon, Washington, and Australia. In addition a parade of Ports and Pinot's will be available to sip and swirl. Whether wine is your livelihood, your avocation, your hobby, or just something you'd like to learn more about, the Monterey Wine Festival at the State Fairgrounds is for you. You'll have the opportunity to taste hundreds of different wines and ports,meet,talk and learn from some of the world's most knowledgeable wine experts in an enjoyable environment. A targeted half day wine and food celebration allows for a rich rewarding experience for wine lovers and gourmet food enthusiasts. Industry booths of gourmet food, wine and culinary accoutrements will introduce their brand or product to attendees.

Live music will act as a backdrop and a place to relax and have a coffee or simply chat with fellow wine enthusiasts on the tasting room floor. Wine enthusiasts and food lovers will savor and remember the flavors they experienced at the Monterey Wine Festival long after the doors to the fairgrounds are closed.
