Stop by this Friday at Treehouse Liquors for a free sampling of Stoneleigh wines from Marlborough, New Zealand; their Sauvignon Blanc & Pinot Noir, complemented with food catered by our neighbor Whisk Gourmet.

The Sauvignon Blanc received 87 points from Wine Spectator.

Wine Spectator review;

Offers up tart intensity to grass, baby powder and grapefruit flavors. Lime juice and crushed stone accents extend through the finish. Drink now. 6,000 cases imported.–DS

Pinot Noir;

Nose; bouquet of black cherry, raspberry, red plums overlaid with savory toasty spice.

Palate; ripe dark red berry fruit flavors dominate the palate. This wine is soft and supple with lingering fruit sweetness balanced by fine integrated tannins.
