Complex with grilled red pepper, raspberry and blackberry fruit, dried plums mingled with tobacco and mocha. Velvety texture with soft and voluptuous tannins in a nicely integrated finish.
SPAIN Presenting: Baron de Ley, Reserva, Rioja
Region: Rioja, Spain
Grapes: 100% Tempranillo
Vintage: 2000
Aged: New American Oak, 14 months
Intensely colored with ruby tones. Forward, wide open nose of ripe fruit and spice: red and black berries, mulled spice aromas. Bright, ripe fruit upfront on the palate, soft tannins, mild acidity. Spicy fruit lingers in the finish.

Bright and intense, with hues of violet. Intense aroma of wild fruits (blackberries and red plums), with hints of spices. Smooth attack, with soft but lively tannins. Ripe fruits, with plums and cherries predominating. |
