Everything has been said already about the exceptional quality of the 2005 vintage in Bordeaux. While most of them require a long cellaring, I’ve found a few that are very much approachable, already showing fantastic qualities! Wines to be tasted: - Chateau Teyssier 2005, St Emilion - $35 / bottle (Wine Spectator: 90 points) - Chateau Pibran 2005, Pauillac - $45 / bottle (Wine Spectator – 92 points) - Chateau Gloria 2005, St Julien - $60 / bottle (Wine Spectator – 92 points, Robert Parker – 90 points “a big time sleeper of the vintage) - Chateau Brillette 2005, Moulis en Medoc - $60 / bottle (Wine Spectator – 90 points) - Château Peyreau 2005, St Emilion – $40 / bottle - Château l’Ecuyer 2005, Pomerol – $50 / bottle (Wine Spectator – 88 points) Cost of the tasting: ONLY $10 / person As usual, 10% discount on full cases (mixed or whole)
