The 14th Annual Sip Around the World Wine Tasting, a benefit for the National Kidney Foundation of West Tennessee, will be held Friday, November 7, 2008 at the Memphis Botanic Garden from 7 to 10 p.m. This popular event attracts more than 1,100 guests. Tickets are $65 in advance and $75 the day of the event. Fine wines, music, hors d’oeuvres plus a live and silent auction will be part of this festive evening. You will feel as if you have been carried away to Napa Valley or the south of France as you have the delightful challenge of selecting which wines to taste, with choices representing more than 100 different wines around the world.
