Wednesday July 23—$45 per person

7:30 p.m. at The Wine Country

This seminar is essential if you like to entertain a lot and you enjoy adventurous cooking. Tonight we explore the difficult pairing decisions that face us all with our contemporary cuisine. What do we do with so-called “wine-killers” like mango salsa, tomatoes and tomato sauce, asparagus, artichokes, vinaigrette, chilies and other spicy food? And something as simple as which cheeses ruins red wine, and which cheeses ruin white wine. Tonight The Wine Country’s staff pools their collected wisdom to unlock the key to success. We’ll sample these wine killers and discover which wines are capable of being born-again, and which are doomed!
