BREADBAR WELCOMES LUMINARY CHEF NORIYUKI SUGIE FOR CRUDOBAR
WHAT:
As part of its popular Guest Chef Series, BREADBAR Century City hosts CRUDOBAR, a two-week limited engagement event with acclaimed Chef Noriyuki Sugie. Inspired by BREADBAR’s artisanal breads, Chef Sugie blends distinct Spanish and Japanese flavors to create a unique small plates menu highlighting local purveyors and farmer’s market produce.
Ranging in price from $9—$19, CRUDOBAR’s menu will encompass a Japanese-Spanish amalgam of dishes including Blue Fin Tuna Tartar with Pickled Fennel, Dry Caper, and Sushi Rice Purée, and Black Cod Sliders, with Leafy Mizuna, Pickles, Wasabi Tartar Sauce, and Spicy Chimichurri.
At BREADBAR, Chef Sugie has also created unique flatbreads accenting the restaurant’s signature Mediterranean focaccia dough with exotic spices and pungent oils. CRUDOBAR will also feature wine and sake pairings by celebrated Master Sommelier Brian Cronin and fine bone Japanese china designed by Chef Sugie himself.
