This event will be held in the lovely glassed-in tasting room at the Gourmet Cheese & Wine Bar in the Galleria Mall in Redondo Beach. Jerry Snyder (aka "the Wine Wiz") will be hosting the tasting while Paula Sindberg, managing director of The Ultimate Wine Company Ltd and a specialist in Austrian wines, will lead a delightful and light-hearted BUT informative introduction to the wines of Austria.

6 wines will be sampled accompanied by the famous Gourmet Cheese & Wine Olive Bread, Chicken Caesar Salad, a selection of cheeses including Cheddar, Gorgonzola, and Brie, a selection of meats including salami, prosciutto, and capicola, and crème brulee dessert.

Among the wines to be served will be -

Johann Donabaum 2007 Grüner Veltliner Federspiel Spitzer Point from the Wachau region

Zierer Zierfandler from the Thermenregion

Weninger Blaufränkisch from Burgenland

and 3 more wines yet to be determined. These will include a sweet wine and perhaps a sparkling wine. More information will be available closer to the date.
