Bordeaux Values: The Big Little Wines of Bordeaux

No one will argue the fact that Bordeaux 1st growths are still astronomical in price but why look there when none other than Robert Parker is quoted as saying that "the real values are not found in the first growths or many of the classified growths" but rather in the "big little wines" calling them "some of the finest wine bargains of the world."
Join us tonight as our own Robert (Parker) Feinn introduces us to producers who are making wines that taste(nearly) as good as those $2000-5000 bottles but at a fraction of the price. Bob will select wines from petits chateaux, cru bourgeois and second labels featuring the great '05 vintage and others currently available. And Dave of Sage Grill will pair the wines with appropriate fare to make tonight's dinner tasting a most worthwhile excursion. Please join us by the Harbour Room fireplace. Remember: all our events include tax and tip. |
