Join us for The Fall Wine Fest 2008 on

Saturday, September 27, 2008

from 7:30pm - 2am

(tasting from 8:00pm - 11:30pm)

Celebrate wines of the world and enjoy delicious paired food samples from each region prepared by Chef Steve Lania. Guests will be given a passport to travel to ten different regions around the world to taste wines and scrumptious foods from each all in one night.

Guests will also enjoy great music all night long, from early evening jazz to 80s, 90s and top 40 dance tunes.

Australia

Hugh Hamilton “Jim Jim” Shiraz - McLaren Vale, Australia

A great nose and delightful sweet berry fruit flavor with soft tannins”

Paired with Fancy Cheese & Toast imported Australian chesses and fresh fruits


Spain

Laxas Albarino - Rias Baxas, Spain

“Bright aromas of apples, flowers, and apricots”

 Paired with Gazpacho old fashioned cold vegetable soup

 

USA

Chardonnay - North Coast, California

Opulent mid-palate showcases toasty oak and a symphony of classic Cali-Cab

currant and cassis flavors. Succulent, juicy, ripe and gorgeous”

Paired with Shrimp & Corn Cake served with spicy mango & avocado salsa

 

New Zealand

Tohu Sauvignon Blanc - Marlborough, New Zealand

Medium bodied with fragrant aromas of flowers and passionfruit and has

fresh zingy citrus flavours that linger on the palate”

Paired with Maple Grilled Venison, crisp potato bread and passion fruit demi

 

Italy

Prosecco - Tuscany, Italy

“Raspberry fragrances with vegetal nuances, oak and spice. 

Elegant and Medium-bodied”

 Paired with Gelato Station, 5 choices, choose your own

 

South Africa

Wildekrans Pinotage - Walker Bay, South Africa

 Paired with Knockwurst in a Blanket with red onion chutney

“Soft, savory tannins are balanced by lush fruit and spice characteristics.

Paired with Chilean Sea Bass, lettuce wrapped and served with plum relish 

 

 

VIP Admission - includes general admission and reserved seating for the evening. 

Each table is for four or more people. If there are less than four in your party we will

This is an interactive social event set up reception style with limited or no seating.

Each guest will receive a passport allowing travel to each wine and food region.

The passport will get stamped each time you visit a different region and try
