Legal Sea Foods at Park Square will host an upcoming St. Francis Wine Dinner featuring a delicious five course pre-fixe menu, paired with a selection of St. Francis wines. St. Francis Winery President and CEO Christopher Silva will join Legal Sea Foods VP of Beverage Operations, Sandy Block, MW as they take guests’ palates on a delectable culinary adventure.
The menu includes:
First Course – Seared sea scallops with vanilla bean beurre blanc, tropical fruit salsa, and micro cilantro, paired with St. Francis Wild Oak Chardonnay, Sonoma County, 2006
Second Course – Grilled swordfish with basil butter and a roasted tomato and mushroom gazpacho, paired with St. Francis Cabernet Sauvignon, Sonoma County, 2004
Third Course – Braised pork belly with a salad of grilled plums, red onion and mache, and blackberry vinaigrette, paired with St. Francis Wild Oak Merlot, Sonoma County, 2004
Fourth Course – Crispy duck breast with grilled mushroom, currant demi-glace, paired with St. Francis Old Vines Zinfandel, Sonoma County, 2005 and St. Francis Wild Oak Zinfandel, Sonoma County, 2005
Cheese Course – Great hill blue cheese with spice raisin chutney and toasted brioche, paired with St. Francis “Pagani Vineyard” Zinfandel, Sonoma Valley, 2004
