Eight is indeed a lucky number for the Hunt family and Hunt Country Vineyards on Keuka Lake in Branchport. On Friday, August 8, Hunt Country will host a celebration of its eight current Gold medal-winning wines, with a special premium wine tasting, lucky drawings and one-day-only offers. The event is open to the public, with special extended hours from 10:00am until 8:08pm, at Hunt Country’s tasting room. Admission is free and no reservations are necessary. Hunt Country will be offering a special tasting of all eight Gold-medal winning wines – from Pinot Gris, Merlot and Semi-Dry Riesling to their marquee late harvest and ice wines -- together with a selection of light hors d’oeuvres. The winery is also a new outlet for The Ravioli Shop of Rochester and will be celebrating with a special offer on eight of their award-winning hand-made raviolis and sauces.
