It’s lobster season!! Lobsters are a valued marine crustacean and a favorite among food lovers. Many times, we hesitate in buying lobsters because of the cost and difficulty in preparing or serving this type of seafood. In this class, we’ll take the mystery out of working with lobsters and we’ll learn a variety of cooking methods such as poaching, steaming, baking, broiling and grilling. We’ll also teach you how to make traditional dishes with a fun new twist. We’ll work with live lobsters, pulled lobster meat and frozen lobster tails (both warm and cold water). Participants will make some traditional lobster dishes like Lobster Mousse Puff Pastry Twist; Lobster Bisque; Lobster Thermidor and Lobster Newburg.
