It’s apple season and we’ve got recipes for you to try! We’ll talk about New York State and its apple production, which apples are great for which recipes, and how to bake and cook with them successfully. We will be exploring every section of a meal including breakfast, appetizer, soup, salad, entrée, side dish and dessert. We will learn everything from grilling and poaching to how to flambé apples! On the menu are: Apple Fritter French Toast; Apple, Walnut & Grape Chicken Tartlets; Sherried Apple & Pumpkin Soup with NY Cheddar (served in apple bowls); Grilled Apple Salad with Sweet & Spicy Maple Chipotle Dressing; Stuffed Pork Tenderloin with Curried Apple & Fig; Lobster Calvados with Roasted Apples; Braised Apples & Cabbage with Sausage; Sweet & Savory Cranberry Apple Risotto; Riesling Poached Apples Stuffed with Sweet Mascarpone; Apples Flambé in Puff Pastry.
