There is no better way to understand, enjoy and appreciate heirloom tomatoes than by attending this workshop with the farmer, Fred Forsburg. Fred grows about 20 varieties of organic heirloom tomatoes including several varieties of cherry tomatoes at Honeyhill Farm in Livonia. He will lead the class through an heirloom tomato tasting; explain the differences in varieties and how he grows them. Participants will cook along with Chef Eric and prepare Gazpacho of many flavors and colors and make a quick and easy Fresh Tomato Sauce that will be served with pasta and freshly grated cheese.
