Event Details
 
By adhering to a few basic principles, making your own high quality wine at home is an enjoyable and rewarding hobby. This first course will cover all the basic equipment and procedures needed to make sound wine from grape juice. Topics include sources and types of juice, measuring and adjusting sugar, yeast and fermentation, racking, fining, cold stabilizing, and bottling. Wine samples illustrating the various types of grapes will be provided.
