Break from the ordinary wine tasting with a sensory exploration of artisan Olive Oils, Prosciutto and Cheese from Academia Barilla. The mission of Academia Barilla is to protect, develop and promote the art of Italian gastronomy and culture around the world. It develops the Italian culinary art by celebrating traditions and nourishing innovation, and promotes the knowledge and the enjoyment of Italian regional cuisines. On Wednesday, September 20th, 2006, Costantino Cicchelli, a representative of Academia Barilla, will be at Grand Tastings to walk us through some of the wonderful foods from Italy, including Olive Oils, Prosciutto di Parma and Cheeses.
