New wines, a great evening at the winery and light hors d'oerves...enjoy a glass of each of our newly released wines: 2007 Scissortail...the spectacular Rhone white blend of Marssane, Roussane, and Viognier and 2006 Palette...our Rhone red blend of Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache, Cinsault and a dab of Viognier! Winemaker Jim Johnson will be on hand to discuss his philosophy of making wine with warm climate varietals and these Rhone varieties in particular. Meet the grower, Mike McHenry, and find out about viticulture in the Texas Hill Country. This is a casual, fun evening in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. We are located 3 miles west of Bend, Texas in San Saba County. Enjoy a Hill Country evening on our veranda.
