About Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek
Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek retains the intimate ambience and charm of the private residence it once was. Originally built by a cotton magnate in 1925, the 16th-century Italian Renaissance-style estate was transformed 55 years later into a world-class restaurant and hotel with 143 elegantly furnished rooms and suites. Since its inception, the Mansion has consistently ranked as the only five-star, five-diamond hotel in Texas. In 2007, Rosewood announced a multimillion dollar restaurant and bar redesign project. The innovative project adds modern design elements while paying tribute to signature historic and architectural details. It results in three distinct venues, including the contemporary and elegant restaurant, a 20-seat formal Chef's Room and the comfortable, stylish bar, which all feature the acclaimed contemporary American cuisine of executive chef John Tesar.
