You are invited to our first Weekend of Wines here at the Inn and Spa at Honey Run! We will feature a variety of classes to educate your wine palate, along with our traditional “Perfect Pairing” Wine Dinner on Saturday night. Come join Executive Chef Tom Hunt and Certified Sommelier Robert Tabler as they guide you through an exciting weekend of wine tasting.
Our event will begin with a Reception with the Owner on Friday evening, featuring the Feuillatte family of champagnes. On Saturday, we will begin with a class led by Certified Sommelier Robert Tabler entitled "Learning to Taste Like a Sommelier". We will be using Forest Glen wines for this class. It will be followed by a Blind School, in which we will use the skills learned in the first class to identify a variety of wines. Our Executive Chef Tom Hunt will offer a lunch and demonstration before our final class for the day; a delicate tasting on Oak versus No Oak Chardonnays. The centerpiece for the weekend will be on Saturday evening, our Perfect Pairing Wine Dinner. We will also have a Farewell Brunch on Sunday morning.
The cost of the event includes two nights at the Inn and Spa at Honey Run, either in our Main Lodge, Honeycombs, or Guest Houses, Friday night's Welcome, the Saturday classes, our Perfect Pairing Wine Dinner, and the Farewell Brunch on Sunday.
For the full weekend, the cost varies by accomodation, between $850 - $1000 for two people. If you would like the join us only on Saturday, the cost would be $375 for two. Our Perfect Pairing Wine Dinner will be $150.00 for two people. Gratuities are included in the first two prices. The Perfect Pairing Wine Dinner will have tax added and gratuity at your discretion. Please call us to make your reservations!
