EVENT DETAILS:

Chef Charlie Socher will present "An End of Summer Grill" for Cafe Matou's September Wine Dinner. The evening will begin at 7:00 P.M. with a glass of sangria in the bar and then diners will be seated in the dining room for dinner. Dinner will celebrate summer's bounty and will be paired with Pinot Noirs from Oregon's Willamette Valley. The six-course dinner will include: Chilled Wisconsin tomato soup with fresh basil and olives; Grilled sardines with butter, lemon, sea salt and hot pepper coulis; House-made mint sorbet and melon; Grilled top butt steak basted with extra virgin olive oil, rosemary and garlic; Market cheese selection; and Classic lemon tart garnished with raspberries.
