Chef/Owner Paul LoDuca and co-sponsors ChicaGourmets! and Imports Inc./chicago welcome Jason Tesauro, Marketing Director from Barboursbille Vineyards. Barboursville Vineyards was the first vinifera winegrower in Virginia since Thomas Jefferson. They produce not only classic French varietals but also the wonderful Italian specialties you will enjoy at this dinner: Pinot Grigio '03, Barbera Reserve '02, Nebbiolo Reserve '01 and Malvaxia Passito '01. The menu: antipasto of seared scallops with fava bean puree, chive olive oil and pine nuts; first course of risotto with roast pork and vegetables Parmigiano, entrée of braised buffalo short ribs with white polenta and roasted fennel and brown butter apricot tart for dessert. $75 per person including tax and tip; $65 for ChicaGourmets! members.
