THE GOURMET WINE CELLAR
TO BENEFIT THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF WINE AND FOOD
WHAT: Chicago's most renowned chefs and restaurants, along with respected sommeliers, celebrate this 6th annual event, presented by Gourmet magazine, and benefiting The American Institute of Wine and Food. This interactive evening includes a variety of wine and food tastings, live cooking demonstrations, and wine seminars.
NEW: The Gourmet Wine Cellar Wine Director of the Year Award (Chicago) will be presented to Brian Duncan of BIN 36. Brian will be awarded for his efforts to make wine approachable and enjoyable as well as his stellar dedication to the Chicago market.
WHO: Sara Moulton (Gourmet’s Executive Chef) doing live demonstrations, plus a collection of Chicago’s culinary giants, including Grant Achatz (ALINEA), Koren Grieveson (AVEC), Michael Sheerin (BLACKBIRD), John Vermiglia (CHARLIE TROTTER’S TO GO), Douglas Rodriguez (DELACOSTA), Jason Paskewitz (JACKSON PARK BAR AND GRILL), Homaro Cantu (MOTO), Christophe David (NoMI), Martial Noguier (ONE SIXTYBLUE), George Bumbaris and Sarah Stegner (PRAIRIE GRASS CAFE), Kendal Duque (SEPIA), Paul Virant (VIE) and Stephanie Samuels (ANGEL FOOD BAKERY).
