2005 Rotta Zinfandel Rose This is a limited production wine from Rotta’s award winning vineyards. This Zinfandel Rose is dry farmed with a soft and light crisp flavor, with hints of strawberries and rose petals. This is a great wine for any occasion!
2003 Gugial Cote du Rhone "The 2003 Cotes du Rhone (60% Syrah, 30% Grenache, and the rest Mourvedre and other grapes) represents a home run for Marcel Guigal and his talented son, Philippe. A deep ruby color is followed by a spicy, earthy bouquet revealing scents of creme de cassis, wild herbs, kirsch, and blackberries. Dense, medium-bodied, and lightly tannic, it is a surprisingly big, substantial Cotes du Rhone in keeping with the finest efforts of the vintage. As I wrote last year, Marcel Guigal, who is not given to over-statements or hyperbole, thinks 2003 is the greatest vintage for the Northern Rhone in his lifetime."
2005 Ramos Zinfandel This wine is reminiscent to an old world wine that has a greater versatility to be paired with a wide selection of dishes. With complex aromas of ripe black cherries, deep raspberries, and an enjoyable balance of tobacco that is produced by our French oak. The mouth feel is slightly long with intense ripe flavors, a good balance of acid and longevity makes this wine drinkable and unforgettable.
2004 Rosenblum Rockpile Zinfandel Rich and robust, flavors of blackberry, black cherry and raspberry mingle with spice and vanilla in the nose. True to its acclaimed linage the 2004 Rockpile Road Vineyard Zinfandel is a stunner. Perfect with barbequed pork spareribs.
2004 Robert Rue Zinfandel The balance of lush fruit, rich creamy oak and firm yet softening tannins creates an ideal structure for this classic old vine Zin. Seductive aromas of ripe brambly blackberries blended with sweet vanilla and subtle hints of black pepper. The smooth mouthfeel reveals a core of juicy ripe blackberry fused with mocha and spicy black pepper. The depth of these delicious flavors resonates on the palate through to the long, luscious finish. |
