Fiddleheads presents our seventh "Dine With the Winemaker" event with The Grape Escape!

Many of you enjoy dining at Fiddleheads not only because of the great food and atmosphere, but because you like bringing your own wine. How about making your own custom wine? We're talking the whole enchilada--crushing and pressing grapes, barreling and racking, and bottling, corking and making your own labels for a wine uniquely your own.

So we’re pleased to announce that Tom and Nancy Nye, owners and master winemakers of The Grape Escape wine academy in Dayton, N.J., will once again be our guests at Fiddleheads on Sunday, July 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. for our seventh “Dine with the Winemaker” event.

Enjoy a great meal at Fiddleheads and visit the Nyes’ table to sample some of the fine wines coming out of The Grape Escape, where you make and bottle the wine yourself! They’ll be available to chat with you about this year's Amador, Sonoma, and Napa California grape harvest, and the company’s unique winemaking course (you might even call it a "party school"!) in Dayton, off Cranbury Road, near Turnpike exit 8A and Route 130, less than 10 minutes from Fiddleheads.

Dinner reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis, so make your reservation by calling us at 732.521.0878. This event is always a full house and the Nyes make it a very fun evening.

The Grape Escape, a fast-growing winemaking school less than 10 minutes from Fiddleheads and the only one of its kind in Middlesex County, features a signature hands-on course to make and bottle your own wine. The same award-winning grapes used in the best California and Chilean wineries are now available to all winemakers. They are shipped to The Grape Escape and in four short sessions over a 10-month period, you will have the unique experience of "fine wining"!

It’s an outstanding opportunity to share a creative and fun craft with friends, family, a team of coworkers, or any club or group. Your own wine also makes great holiday or corporate gifts, favors for baby and bridal showers, and commemorations of wedding and organizational anniversaries. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced winemaking students created many thousands of bottles of wine at The Grape Escape in 2007, and you can sign up for the 2008 California winemaking sessions right now; this summer and fall season features grapes from the top California regions--Napa, Amador, and Sonoma.

For our current menus, see our Web site: www.jamesburg.net/fiddleheads, where there is also a flyer about this event that you can print out to share with your friends. For more information about The Grape Escape, link to their site at GoGrapes.com.

Call Fiddleheads for reservations: 732.521.0878.
