Event Details
 
Meritage is a new world expression of a Bordeaux style wine. They have been blending wines in Bordeaux for centuries to produce the ultimate expression of wine that is balanced and intergrated. Using the varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot & Cabernet Franc the French have created wines that are legends. California always being quick to follow suite has been on a mission to live up to the mighty Bordeaux. This tasting will focus on California Meritage wines as well as Merlot & Cabernet, the primary varietals that are used.
