This is the Grand Opening to kick off the week long festival of food, wine and culture. A 22,000 square foot hangar hosts the kick-off evening. Enjoy foods from 20+ Cape Cod restaurants, over 200 wines, beautiful art displays and energizing music. Chef demonstrations from some of the finest restaurants on cape will show their talents with foods and flavors. The event also featured a champagne saberer who added a certain panache to the affair. Imagine opening a bottle of champagne with a saber. Truly a sight to behold. All this promises to make a memorable evening, much like the event in 2008. Over 800 people took part in the first food & wine festival. Don't miss this one. Ticket proceeds go to the Arts Foundation and other organizations.
