This qualification is intended for those employed in the wine industry. It is particularly suited to those in sales and service and is the natural progression following the Foundation course.

The course is also suitable for those who are employed in the wine industry and for those who wish to learn more about wine.

* The classic grape varieties

* France - Introduction, Bordeaux and Burgundy

* France - Rhone, Southern France, Alsace, Loire

* Italy, Spain and Portugal

* Germany and Other European Countries

* The New World

* Sparkling and Fortified Wines

To gain the Level 2 qualification candidates will be required to successfully complete a multiple choice paper of 50 questions.
