| The 'Trois Glorieuses' festivities are a series of spectacular wining and dining events connected with the annual wine auctions, which. according to wine guru Robert Parker is "the greatest eating and drinking experience on the face of this planet."
This tour starts with dinner at Clos Vougeot and ends with a marathon lunch on Monday at Meursault.
We have managed to obtain places for a post auction dinner at the Hotel Dieu, the food and rink will be phenomenal. This is normally only open to members of the wine trade by invitation only.
Our first night is in Lyons at a 4* hotel in the heart of the old city. The gastronomic experience begins with a Michelin* dinner.
Our visits are to a mix of exclusive small domaines and some of the best negociants. Many of these do not normally accept visitors and have asked not to have their names mentioned, as the favour has been granted because of Arblaster & Clarke. With them we will taste some sublime examples of many of the greates crus.
This is a feast of the senses that every Burgundy lover, or anyone who loves wine should not miss out on. As of January 2008 there are only a handful of places available.
Tour includes: 4 nights 4* hotels in superior rooms, breakfasts, 6 meals with wines, visits, tastings, Wine Guide and Tour Manager.
