Its a 6-7-8 Party from 2 to 2 at Allan Kowadla's Lake House, Dock & Island!

Travel and Social was founded on 6/7/99, so we will be celebrating 9 great years with a huge party at Lake Lanier on 6/7/08!

This party is free for everyone and we'll supply a keg and some starter burgers and dogs, but other than that it is BYOB on drinks and food to share. Gas grills will be available, and paper plates, napkins, cups, etc., will be furnished. We'll be bringing the Dreamweaver RV up Friday Night and it will be camped out in Allan's backyard for the weekend. We also have a new Margaritaville Frozen Margarita Machine, so margarita supplies like tequila, triple sec, margarita mix and ice will be in high demand and appreciated. You may also make an optional donation using one of the links below, and we'll put that towards additional food and drinks.

Directions and parking info is below, and there is a trail from Allan's house that leads to Allan's Island, where you can tan, swim, play volleyball, and just hang out for the day. If you have a boat, bring it! If you go for a ride on someone's boat, be sure and give them some money for gas, and remember that gas on the lake is probably well over $4 per gallon, so $5 doesn't get you very far!

Should be a fun party and we are expecting a very large crowd! Please make sure you park correctly and legally, and be courteous to Allan's neighbors. This includes not throwing your trash (especially red cups) in their yards. Remember to drink responsibly, especially if you are driving a boat or car, and plan on staying overnight via tent, at Allan's or one of his neighbor's houses, or on the RV or a boat, if you plan on having several adult beverages. This party and all activities are at your own risk, and the club, Allan, and any other hosts will not be held responsible for any accidents or injuries. You are responsible for your actions and the actions of your guests if you bring any. So, let's have a fun and safe weekend celebration! Members, thanks for your patronage and loyalty over the last 9 years, we look forward to many more years of fun ahead!

Directions: Take 400N from 285 for 30 miles. Right on Pilgrim Mill/Exit 16. Right after 4.0 miles on Young Deer Dr. Left, after 1 mile on Williams Shores Drive # 5550 is the 9th (bright yellow) house on the right. (770) 205-2801/Cell (770) 480-2038. Parking is limited, so please come by boat if possible. Park, just short of Allan's house, on the grass or in his front yard. Park, close together to squeeze everybody in. Williams Shores Dr is too narrow for street parking, so overflow parking is in Ain's front yard (grey house at 5345 Young Deer, just before you’re left turn on to Williams Shores). We’ll mark it with balloons.

Boat directions: From Tidwell Park, go southwest (toward Buford Dam), to the island or go up Bald Ridge Creek to Allan's beach. Sail between markers 1BR and 2BR. Make a right into the 2nd cove on the right (1st inhabited cove). Allan's dock is at the NE corner of that cove, 2 level, battheship gray party dock.
