June 7 – Fresh and Local Dinner with a North African Theme
The essence of North African cuisine begins with the comforting aroma of cinnamon, combined with cumin’s earthy, pungent flavor along with other exotic spices including ginger, fennel, thyme and turmeric. The primarily vegetarian cuisine incorporates almonds, dried fruits and regional vegetables like eggplant, tomatoes, and sweet potatoes. Grains and legumes like lentils, rice, pasta, couscous, chick peas and fava are also prevalent. Dinner and wine is $85.00 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
