| The Palm Beach Wine Night features cool summer wines and powerhouse reds from Six Contitnents on Tuesday evening, July 24, in a special tasting that is introducing eleven vintages brand-new to the metro area!
A total of 15 of the 22 wines offered for sampling are served chilled. That guarantees a perfect accompanment for the warm evening on the Palm Beach patio! Marietta distributor Continental Beverage Corporation is presenting this special tasting portfolio.
For starters, the brand-new offerings include Domaine Gayda's (Languedoc) THREE WINDS Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah and Pinot Noir. From Argentina there are two Robino Winery Frizzante's (sparkling wines), SUA Tinto Dulce Red and Blanco Dulce White. Sips of three new hip, trendy Italian wines--SCUSI Bianco, Rosato and Rosso--are here to enjoy along with three very good European-style dessert wines from the Republic of Moldavia--the DIONIS CLUB Isabella, Lidia and Kagor. And there is much, much more!
The powerhouse red wines include wonderful Paso Robles offerings--the JRE 2006 Zinfandel and the JAN KRIS Estate Merlot and Picaro--a Spanish Tempranillo/Garnacha blend from BODEGAS SAN VALERO named Roja Bella along with a very fine Australian, Lyrup Crossings Shiraz/Cabernet.
Additional wine night offerings include other red and white wines, including two German white wines from KLOSTOR and some real "fun" New Zealand FAT CAT FAMILY wines. One is named Cats Pee on a Gooseberry Bush!
Chef Geir Kilen will present special cheeses, fruits and breads guest may nibble as they stroll from tasting table to tasting table, savoring every glass of wine, listening to light Jazz
music and watching the colorful summer sunset.
