Champagne is more than Dom Perignon and a lot more interesting than Korbel. In this intermediate level class, we explore the various levels of Champgne from Brut Nature to Doux and the difference between Blanc de Blanc and Blanc de Noir. Champagne itself is the focal point of this class and you will learn about the rating system, other grapes allowed in Champagne and how it differs from other sparkling wines. Wines from outside Champagne are also utilized to demonstrate various levels. A tasting lab is conducted with Benchmark examples and a class guide is provided. Limited to 16 students.
