Event Submission Guidelines

LocalWineEvents.com is not responsible in any way for the success of your event.

Guidelines

1.The event must have a food, wine, spirits or beer theme.
2.DO NOT PUT EVERYTHING IN CAPS. EVENTS POSTED IN ALL CAPS ARE RISKING DELETION.
3.YOU MAY NOT USE HTML CODE IN THE EVENT NAME!
4.If your establishment has a weekly tasting of wines, spirits or beer open to the public for free, I would like to have them posted with a theme. I won't mind if they are posted weekly, or monthly, ahead of time provided there is a theme. I won't post "Friday Wine Tastings" but would rather, "Shiraz from Australia." etc.
5.No Promo's. "$1 shots at Joeys" won't fly.
6.It's very unlikely that I will confirm any posting that covers a time span of more than a week (and even then it's doubtful). There are few "events" that I have seen or heard of that are going to be more than a few days long. Month long "release" announcements aren't going to cut it.
7.If you are just posting a vague "event" to get your company name on my site, I will delete it. In the space marked 'event description,' please provide relevant details about a specific event happening on a specific day.
8.You may NOT post your in-home wine tasting business. To inquire for advertising, Click Here
9.Be careful if your posting includes a link to an online ticketing service. If the link goes to your own in-house ticket system, that's fine. BUT, a link on our site that goes to a third party service in competition with the LocalWineEvents.com ticketing service will NOT be allowed.

Instead, use your posting to link people back to your own website. From there, you can direct visitors to the ticketing system you wish to use.

For more information about the LocalWineEvents.com ticketing service Click Here.
10.A vague posting that smacks of simply, "Come in, we're open," will be deleted.
11.It is not necessary to write, "See our website for details," since we already provide a space for you to write in your website name and URL. In fact, if "See our website for details" is the only thing you say about your event, your posting will be deleted.
12.Please re-read guidelines #1 and #2.
