| The event will run over Veteran's Day Weekend. This event is an annual gathering of art, food and wine enthusiasts in Palm Desert, California, United States (Southern California’s Coachella Valley). The four-day event features food and wine tastings, art exhibitions, celebrity chef demonstrations, culinary seminars, music, shopping and golf.
Renowned chefs and sommeliers, including the Food Network's Hearty Boys, Executive Pastry Chef Gale Gand, Tru's Ric Tramonto, famed Thai chef Tommy Tang, executive chefs Oliver Reschreiter and Melissa Kelly, and others, will host live demonstrations and seminars for thousands of festival-goers. Artists, artisans and art galleries will also be showcased throughout the weekend.
Activities at the 2007 festival will include an opening night sparkling wine and chocolate reception, a public festival on El Paseo in the city’s premier shopping district, a concert at Civic Center Park, a golf tournament at Desert Willow Golf Resort and two days of top-quality food and wine sampling at The Grand Tasting.
The Art of Food & Wine Palm Desert is presented by the City of Palm Desert, Desert Springs JW Marriott Resort & Spa and Southern Wine & Spirits. Other national sponsors include Fidelity Investments and Kitchen Aid.
