Sylvester Winery would like to invite parents and children to get into the holiday spirit by visiting our Pullman train cars to enjoy a reading of “The Polar Express” by Chris VanAllsburg. On Sunday, December 7th, the winery will be hosting a special reading inside of our vintage Pullman train cars. Proceeds from this event will benefit local foster and high needs children and families served by the Family Care Network. Their goal is to provide an alternative to institutional care and group homes as well as family and community support services. The reading will be held every hour beginning at 4:30 p.m. and will be led by a staff member dressed in an authentic conductor’s uniform. Snacks and hot cocoa will be served and of course our award winning wines will be available as well.
